Guterres: I am concerned about the escalating violence in Sudan
New York, December 12 (Hibya) – United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said he is deeply concerned about the increasing violence against civilians in Sudan.
UN Secretary-General Guterres stated that he is deeply concerned about the growing violence targeting civilians in Sudan.
Calling for an immediate cessation of hostilities and the resumption of negotiations to achieve a lasting ceasefire and an inclusive, Sudanese-led comprehensive political process, Guterres said: “Everyone must comply with their obligations under international law.”
