Finnish President Alexander Stubb said that the agreement signed with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had brought defense cooperation between the two countries to a new stage.

Stubb said the agreement also enables the joint production of defense materials, adding, “Defense industry companies in Finland are ready for this; joint work can now be fully implemented.”

Stubb said Ukraine needs all possible support in the struggle it is waging and emphasized that the cooperation provides mutual benefits.

Stubb said Finland is strengthening its own defense capabilities by drawing on Ukraine's experience, adding, “By learning from Ukraine's experience, we are strengthening our own capabilities.”
