New York, September 23 (Hibya) - Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa met with Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on the sidelines of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly session.

According to a statement by the Presidency of the Syrian Arab Republic, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad al-Shaibani was also present at the meeting.
The meeting addressed bilateral relations between Syria and Pakistan and opportunities to develop cooperation. The parties also exchanged views on various regional and international issues of mutual interest.
