Montenegro Prime Minister Milojko Spajic said in a statement that he welcomed Edgar Alfred Gansen, Germany’s newly appointed Ambassador to Montenegro.

Spajic said Germany’s full support was of great importance at a critical stage in Montenegro’s European Union (EU) integration. He added that they agreed Montenegro had become an example and a source of encouragement for EU candidate countries through the results it had achieved, stressing that intensive effort, responsible work and determination always pay off.

Spajic said there was room to build stronger economic relations between Montenegro and Germany and to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in areas of mutual interest.
