Rangel extends condolences to his Norwegian counterpart
Lisbon, August 28 (Hibya) - Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel extended his condolences to Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide following the death of King Harald V.
Portugal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel had extended his deepest condolences to Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide following the death of King Harald V.
The statement also said that the Portuguese people stand in solidarity with the Norwegian people. King Harald V was described as a moral reference who succeeded in combining tradition with modernity and progress.
