Sharif: Pakistan condemns attack on Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant
Islamabad, May 18 (Hibya)- Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reacted to the drone attack targeting the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the attack on the UAE in his statement and shared a message of regional peace.
Emphasizing solidarity with the UAE, Sharif said, “Pakistan strongly condemns the drone attack on the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant in the United Arab Emirates. We stand in full solidarity with the leadership and brotherly people of the United Arab Emirates.”
Drawing attention to international obligations, Sharif stated, “We call on all parties to exercise maximum restraint and fulfill their obligations under international law.”
Stating that the solution lies through diplomatic means, Sharif said, “Dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable path toward lasting regional peace, stability, and de-escalation.”
