Dar meets Commonwealth Secretary-General Botchwey
Islamabad, February 4 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting with Commonwealth Secretary-General Shirley Botchwey.
According to a statement from Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dar met with Commonwealth Secretary-General Shirley Botchwey.
Dar highlighted Pakistan’s role as one of the founding members of the Commonwealth and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to democracy, good governance, development and multilateral cooperation.
The two sides also discussed opportunities to further enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest, particularly through strengthening intra-Commonwealth cooperation.
