Costa: The EU will continue to provide political and financial support to UNRWA
Brussels, February 4 (Hibya) – European Council President Antonio Costa said that UNRWA plays a vital role in providing healthcare and education to millions of Palestinians across the region, especially in Gaza.
Antonio Costa stated that UNRWA plays a crucial role in delivering health services and education to millions of Palestinians throughout the region, particularly in Gaza, stressing that “it must be able to operate without restrictions, both now and in the future.”
Costa added that UNRWA’s mandate remains valid as ever and that the EU will continue, as it has for decades, to provide political and financial support to UNRWA.
