Berendsen: Aggressor country must pay
Amsterdam, August 27 (Hibya) - Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen said the Russia-Ukraine war continues to cause widespread destruction in Ukraine and that the country faces growing financing needs.

Berendsen said frozen Russian assets could be used to finance Ukraine's reconstruction and compensate for the damage caused by Russia as a result of the war. Berendsen said, “The principle is clear: the aggressor must pay. Frozen Russian assets can play a role in financing Ukraine's recovery.”
