Albares: Spain and Algeria share a Mediterranean neighborhood
Algiers, March 26 (Hibya) - Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation Jose Manuel Albares, during his official visit to Algeria, emphasized the historical and human ties between the two countries and expressed determination to act together to ensure prosperity and stability in the Mediterranean.
Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares is holding high-level meetings in Algeria to elevate strategic and diplomatic relations between the two countries to a higher level.
At the beginning of his visit, highlighting the deep ties between the two countries, Albares said: "I am starting my official visit to Algeria to strengthen our excellent bilateral relations. Spain and Algeria share human and historical ties and a Mediterranean neighborhood."
Referring to the importance of regional security, Minister Albares stated: "We are united by a shared interest in ensuring stability and prosperity in the Mediterranean for the benefit of our peoples."
