Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha met with OECD Secretary-General Cormann during his visit to France.

Commenting on the meeting, Sybiha said, “We focused on advancing Ukraine–OECD cooperation further and deepening our engagement.”

Sybiha noted that regional issues, particularly developments in the Middle East, were discussed, and their impact on global security and economic stability was evaluated.

Referring to Ukraine’s OECD membership process, Sybiha stated, “Ukraine is steadily progressing toward OECD membership and aims to obtain candidate country status this year. We are ready to move to the next stage.”

Sybiha emphasized that integration into the OECD would contribute to the country’s reconstruction process and strengthen Ukraine’s place among developed democratic nations.

Highlighting Ukraine’s increasing role in cooperation in Eastern Europe, Sybiha stated that the OECD office to be established in the country would serve as a regional hub.

The meeting also addressed efforts for lasting peace in Ukraine, emphasizing the role of international organizations in ensuring long-term stability.

Sybiha also announced that, on behalf of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the “Order of Merit” was presented to Mathias Cormann.
