Zelensky issues a message for the month of Ramadan
Kyiv, February 19 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky published a message on the occasion of the beginning of the month of Ramadan.
President Zelensky stated that on the first day of Ramadan, thousands of Ukrainian Muslims are observing the day on the front line, while part of the Crimean Tatar people remain under Russian occupation and captivity.
Emphasizing that they remember all Muslims and are working to restore their freedom, Zelensky thanked the global Muslim community for its support for Ukraine.
Zelensky also wished peace and true security to all nations, stating, “War and violence should never be normal anywhere.”
