Yeşilgöz-Zegerius: We will not forget Richard Kresge Tice and the Polish soldiers
Amsterdam, September 19 (Hibya) – Dutch Defense Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius commemorated Richard Kresge Tice and the Polish soldiers who lost their lives in Driel.
Dutch Defense Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said Richard Kresge Tice was 22 years old when he lost his life in Driel. Yeşilgöz-Zegerius stated that Tice was born in the United States, fought under the Polish flag and died on Dutch soil.
Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said that in Tice’s life story, the United States, Poland and the Netherlands were connected through the defense of freedom, adding: “We will not forget him and the Polish soldiers.”
