Wang meets with India's Ambassador to China Rawat
Beijing, March 26 (Hibya) - Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with India's Ambassador to Beijing, Pradeep Kumar Rawat, whose term is coming to an end, and emphasized that the positive momentum in bilateral relations should be reinforced.
According to CCTV, Wang said that under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, China-India relations have entered the right track of improvement and development.
The meeting addressed the protection of the common interests of the Global South, the strengthening of cooperation in multilateral mechanisms such as BRICS, and the expansion of mutually beneficial projects.
Wang stated that they highly appreciate Rawat's contributions to stabilizing bilateral relations during his term in office.
Ambassador Rawat, for his part, noted that India and China are two ancient civilizations and actors of global importance.
