U.S. stock markets closed higher
Istanbul, June 30 (Hibya) - The major U.S. stock market indices closed the trading day higher, with the technology-heavy Nasdaq indices posting the strongest performance.
The major U.S. stock market indices ended the trading session in positive territory.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.59% to close at 52,182.74 points. The S&P 500 Index rose 1.18% to finish at 7,440.43 points.
The technology-heavy Nasdaq Composite climbed 2.07% to 25,820.44 points, while the Nasdaq 100 advanced 2.25% to 29,774.75 points.
The Russell 2000 Index, which tracks small-cap companies, ended the day with a modest 0.01% gain at 3,010.12 points.
