UNRWA: Families in Lebanon forced to leave their homes
New York, April 8 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that it continues to provide services to Palestinian refugees displaced by the conflict in Lebanon and struggling to live below the poverty line.
In a statement, UNRWA emphasized the severity of the humanitarian situation in the region, noting that families already living with limited resources have been forced to leave their homes.
According to information shared about the agency’s field activities, “Displacement in Lebanon continues, and families have been forced to leave their homes. Among them are Palestinian refugees, most of whom already live with limited resources and below the poverty line.”
The statement added, “In its emergency shelters, UNRWA, in close cooperation with its partners, provides a wide range of services, including for children.”
