Albares: Spain will enable Pakistan to open the way for diplomacy
Madrid, April 8 (Hibya) – Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, stated that they will fully support Pakistan’s mediation efforts to reduce tensions in the Middle East, emphasizing that the peace process should also include Lebanon.
Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, spoke about diplomatic contacts in the region following the two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran.
Highlighting the importance of diplomatic initiatives, Albares said: "Spain will spare no effort to support Pakistan’s mediation efforts in the war in the Middle East and will enable it to open the way for diplomacy."
Expressing his expectations regarding the significance of the day and the scope of peace, Albares said: "Today is a hopeful day, which we hope will result in a definitive peace that should also include Lebanon."
