Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council Umerov stated that after the trilateral meeting in Abu Dhabi, the negotiation process continued today in a working group format.

Umerov noted that the Ukrainian delegation included Kyrylo Budanov, Davyd Arakhamia, Serhii Kyslytsia, Andrii Hnatov, Vadym Skibitskyi and Oleksandr Bevz alongside himself, saying: “On the U.S. side, Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner and Josh Gruenbaum, as well as Daniel Driscoll and General Alex Grynkewich, took part in the consultations. The Russian side was represented by senior military officials.”

Umerov added that the work was substantive and productive, focused on concrete steps and practical solutions, and announced that a report is being prepared to be submitted to President Zelensky.
