Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov announced that the first day of trilateral negotiations in Geneva has concluded.

Umerov stated that following the joint session, work continued in groups organized by areas, noting that the discussions focused on practical issues and mechanisms for possible solutions.

He added that today’s work on both the political and military fronts has been completed, saying: “We thank our American partners for their constructive participation and their willingness to work at a steady pace.”

Umerov emphasized that the results of the first day of negotiations in Geneva will be reported to the President of Ukraine, adding: “Tomorrow morning, the political and military groups will continue their work.”
