Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Farsin Aghabekian Shaheen met with Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Planar at the headquarters of the Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Following the meeting, the two sides held a joint press conference where they discussed the latest political and humanitarian developments in the Palestinian territories.

Shaheen expressed appreciation for Slovakia’s supportive stance toward the State of Palestine on international platforms.

For his part, Juraj reaffirmed his country’s support for the State of Palestine and the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination, as well as for the establishment of a Palestinian state in accordance with international law and international legitimacy resolutions.
