UAE: Ahmed bin Tahnoon visits Chemical Defense Command
The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Brigadier General Sheikh Ahmed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan paid a field visit to the headquarters of the Chemical Defense Command.
According to the UAE Ministry of Defense, Al Nahyan was accompanied by senior officers and officials from the ministry during the visit and was received by Brigadier General Saeed Nasser Al Kaabi, Commander of the Chemical Defense Command.
During the visit, the delegation toured the laboratory and field exhibition, where they were briefed on the latest equipment and advanced technologies used for the detection, monitoring, and decontamination of chemical threats. They were also informed about how advanced devices used in field laboratories enhance rapid response capabilities and contribute to the protection of military personnel.
The ministry stated that the visit was part of its efforts to closely monitor the readiness of military units and commands, review the progress of development and modernization programs on site, and strengthen the armed forces' defense capabilities and operational effectiveness.
