The foreign ministers of Qatar, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt issued a joint statement regarding the developments in the Gaza Strip.

The statement said the ministers expressed their "strongest condemnation and outrage" over the targeting of healthcare facilities and medical infrastructure in Gaza, attacks on civilian infrastructure, and the loss of civilian lives, including women and children.

The joint statement stressed that protecting civilians, ensuring the safety of healthcare facilities as well as medical and humanitarian workers, and guaranteeing the safe and unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid throughout the Gaza Strip are obligations under international law.

It also stated that developments in Gaza cannot be viewed separately from settler attacks in the West Bank, illegal settlement activities, and unilateral measures aimed at changing the status of East Jerusalem, noting that these undermine the foundations of the two-state solution.

The ministers called on the United Nations Security Council to fulfill its responsibilities and reaffirmed their categorical rejection of any attempts to annex the occupied Palestinian territories, place them under Israeli sovereignty, or forcibly displace the Palestinian people.
