Trump: New Air Force One will fly over Washington on July 4
Washington, June 20 (Hibya) - The President of the United States (US) announced that the new Air Force One is being prepared for service and will conduct a large-scale flyover above Washington on Independence Day, July 4. The remarks also highlighted the aircraft’s design, military capabilities, and foreign policy messages.
Speaking at Joint Base Andrews, the US President thanked the 250 personnel involved in the new Air Force One project, stating that the aircraft had been prepared through “continuous around-the-clock work.”
The US President said that the new presidential aircraft would perform a flyover over Washington, D.C. on July 4 on a scale “never seen before,” adding that the aircraft was designed in red, white, and blue to represent the American flag.
Emphasizing that the new Air Force One is the largest presidential aircraft ever built, the US President stated that it is also more advanced than previous models in terms of range and speed.
Addressing foreign policy and security issues during his speech, the US President criticized the process surrounding the Iran nuclear agreement (JCPOA), arguing that the previous administration’s approach toward military objectives had been inadequate. He also drew attention to tensions in strategic regions such as the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.
In his assessment of the use of force, the US President stressed the need to act “carefully and with restraint,” while delivering messages about leadership, experience, and capability.
Referring to his relationship with the Israeli Prime Minister, the US President stated that they “maintain good relations, although balance is sometimes necessary.”
Concluding his remarks by focusing on future goals, the US President said he wanted to pursue “effective and large-scale projects” during the remainder of his term in office.
