Prevot: Strong diplomatic cooperation between Belgium and Austria
Brussels, June 19 (Hibya) - Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot emphasized the importance of close cooperation between Belgium and Austria for Europe's security and future during the opening ceremony of Austria House in Brussels.
Prevot made remarks at the opening ceremony of “Austria House” held in Brussels.
Prevot stated that relations between Austria and Belgium are closer than ever in recent times, noting that the two countries are particularly aligned on issues such as the Ukraine crisis, European security, and the future of the European Union.
Highlighting that diplomacy is based on mutual respect and dialogue, Prevot said that “Austria House” would serve as a bridge between the two countries and make Austria feel at home in Brussels.
Prevot emphasized that cooperation is strengthened not only at the political level but also through people-to-people relations, adding that they remain open to greater dialogue and joint initiatives.
