Trump: I agree to suspend attacks on Iran for two weeks
Washington, April 8 (Hibya) – U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he has suspended military operations against Iran for two weeks on the condition that the Strait of Hormuz is opened.
Trump made the statement following talks with Pakistani officials.
He said the suspension depends on the immediate and secure opening of the strait and would constitute a bilateral ceasefire.
He stated that strategic objectives have been achieved.
A 10-point proposal has been received from Iran.
He concluded that a solution is close.
