Trump: China agreed to order 200 Boeing jets
Washington, May 14 (Hibya) - US President Donald Trump stated that his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping was highly productive and announced that China had agreed to order a total of 200 Boeing jets, more than initially planned.
US President Donald Trump shared details regarding his bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Trump emphasized that economic demands were at the forefront of the meeting and announced the order in the aviation sector.
Evaluating the content of the meeting, Trump said: “We talked about many things, we had a very good meeting. We want some things from them. There is one thing he agreed to today, he will order 200 jets; that means a lot of jobs, a lot.”
Stating that the order quantity exceeded expectations, Trump said: “Boeing wanted 150, he took 200.”
