Zelensky met with German Federal Minister for Special Affairs Frei
Kyiv, May 14 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with German Federal Minister for Special Affairs Thorsten Frei and Head of the German Federal Intelligence Service Martin Jäger.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about his meetings with German officials following Russia’s recent intensive attacks.
Drawing attention to the messages of support from Germany, Zelensky said, “After Russia’s major attack, we received important signals of support. We discussed how we can accelerate our agreements with Germany on air defense in order to protect Ukrainians from such terror.”
Emphasizing Germany’s contributions in the field of defense, Zelensky stated, “Germany has repeatedly helped us strengthen our air defense, and we now expect the same leadership again.”
