Bulgarian Deputy Foreign Minister Ivanka Tasheva met with Csaba Rada, Hungary's Deputy State Secretary for European and North American Relations, during his visit to Bulgaria.

The meeting, held at Bulgaria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, addressed the development of relations between the two countries and the political dialogue maintained at various levels. The parties expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of bilateral relations. Recent statements by Bulgaria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs also show that Deputy Minister Tasheva continues her contacts on various European agenda issues and bilateral cooperation topics.

The meeting explored opportunities to deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest, while also addressing the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries and the promotion of investment. Partnerships in energy security and combating illegal migration were also among the topics discussed.

The parties also discussed current issues on the European and international agenda, particularly European Union enlargement, Russia's military aggression against Ukraine and the security situation in the Black Sea region.

Yordan Parvanov, Director General for European Affairs at Bulgaria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Stela Dimitrova, Head of the Bilateral European Cooperation Department, also attended the meeting.
