Czech President Petr Pavel said he met King Abdullah II of Jordan again after two years and that they continued at Prague Castle the dialogue they had previously held in Amman.

Referring to Jordan's importance, Pavel said, “Jordan is one of our most reliable partners in the Middle East.”

Highlighting cooperation and the topics discussed, Pavel said, “That is why we support the country's ties with Europe and are exploring new opportunities to deepen our cooperation.”

Providing details of the meeting, Pavel said, “During our meeting, we discussed not only security and humanitarian assistance for the Gaza Strip, but also new opportunities in bilateral trade.”

Pavel concluded his statement by saying, “Your Majesty, Eva and I are very pleased to see both you and Her Majesty Queen Rania in Prague.”
