Rubio: I am pleased Lithuania met its defense spending target ahead of schedule
Washington, September 18 (Hibya) - United States (US) Secretary of State Marco Rubio said he held talks with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys on strengthening political and security cooperation in Europe.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio discussed political and security cooperation in Europe during his meeting with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys. According to a statement by Lithuania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, regional security, support for Ukraine and the development of bilateral cooperation were also discussed.
Rubio said he welcomed Lithuania's achievement of the Hague defense spending target earlier than projected as a sign of its commitment to NATO and shared security.
