Syrian President Ahmed Sharaa received Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Commander-in-Chief Mazlum Abdi and his accompanying delegation at the People’s Palace in the capital Damascus.

According to a statement by the Syrian Presidency, Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister Asaad al-Shaibani and Deir ez-Zor Governor Ziad al-Ayesh also attended the meeting.

The meeting addressed various files related to integration into Syrian state institutions and the steps planned to be taken in the coming period.

The statement said the talks were conducted in a manner aimed at strengthening the presence of the state and supporting security and stability.
