Sybiha: The PURL initiative aims to strengthen the protection and resilience of our cities
Kyiv, February 26 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held a phone conversation with Montenegro’s Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimovic.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha informed his Montenegrin counterpart about Russia’s ongoing missile and drone terror against Ukraine.
He also described the consequences of last night’s attack targeting cities and civilian infrastructure. “I thanked Montenegro for its solidarity with the Ukrainian people, its consistent support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and for voting in favor of the UN General Assembly resolution titled ‘Support for a Lasting Peace in Ukraine’,” he said.
Sybiha expressed gratitude for Montenegro’s participation in the PURL initiative, emphasizing that it represents a meaningful contribution to strengthening the protection and resilience of cities.
The ministers identified practical steps to further develop the bilateral agenda and Ukraine-Montenegro cooperation in the political and security fields, while coordinating the next steps on the path toward EU integration.
