Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Sybiha noted that air temperatures in Ukraine have fallen below minus 20 degrees, stating: “Overnight, Russia carried out attacks with more than 60 missiles, including ballistic missiles, and 450 unmanned aerial vehicles.”

Stressing that the main targets were energy infrastructure and residential areas in Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Sumy, Odesa and other regions, Sybiha said: “Putin waited for temperatures to drop and stockpiled drones and missiles in order to continue his genocidal attacks against the Ukrainian people.”

Sybiha added that diplomatic efforts carried out this week in Abu Dhabi and promises made to the United States did not prevent the continuation of ‘terror’ against civilians even under the harshest winter conditions, and continued:

“We are facing terrorists who must be forced to stop the violence. The world has the necessary tools for this. Strengthen Ukraine’s air defense and energy resilience. Increase pressure on Moscow. Deprive the Russian war machine of energy revenues and access to technology. Isolate the Russian regime. Stop and seize Russia’s illegal oil tankers.”
