Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha attended the 4th International Summit of Cities and Regions held in the capital Kyiv.

Providing information about the summit and the current situation in Ukraine, Sybiha said, “Despite constant Russian missile and drone attacks, Ukraine continues to strengthen international partnerships, support its communities, and implement recovery projects.”

Sybiha stated, “Russia is trying to destroy our cities. We, on the other hand, are strengthening the ties between them even more.”

Emphasizing the strategic role of intermunicipal cooperation and horizontal diplomacy, Sybiha said, “Municipal partnerships have become a strong pillar of Ukraine’s resilience, from humanitarian aid and rehabilitation programs to reconstruction projects and long-term investments. Horizontal diplomacy is delivering real results in Europe and beyond.”
