Rubio: We conducted diplomatic contacts with India and Armenia
Washington, May 26 (Hibya) - United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that a framework agreement was signed with India in the field of critical minerals and that a strategic partnership charter was signed with Armenia.
Marco Rubio made statements regarding diplomatic contacts carried out with India and Armenia.
Rubio announced that they signed a “Critical Minerals Framework Agreement” with Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
Rubio said, “Today, together with Jaishankar, we signed the bilateral Critical Minerals Framework Agreement, which marks a turning point in the U.S.-India strategic partnership.”
Referring to the significance of the agreement, Rubio stated, “This step paves the way for reliable and resilient mineral supply chains and strengthens the core objectives set by U.S. President Donald Trump.”
Rubio also noted that they signed a strategic partnership charter with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
Rubio said, “This agreement represents the biggest step to date toward establishing a historic corridor, advancing peace, and increasing prosperity in Armenia and indeed throughout the region.”
