Assessing Denmark’s Presidency of the EU Council, Sybiha expressed gratitude to his counterpart Lars Løkke Rasmussen and the Danish government.

Sybiha said: “We highly value the practical work carried out to open negotiation clusters and the tangible results achieved in strengthening sanctions pressure on Russia. The 18th and 19th sanctions packages were adopted, additional restrictive measures were imposed on the shadow fleet, and preparations for the 20th sanctions package against the aggressor have begun.”

Highlighting Denmark’s contributions in the field of defense, Sybiha stated: “Denmark’s efforts have laid a solid foundation for strengthening European security and defense. One of the key elements was supporting Ukraine’s defense capabilities and accelerating the integration of Ukraine’s defense industry into the EU’s industrial base.”

He concluded: “Thank you, Denmark, for embracing the vision of a strong and united Europe together with Ukraine.”
