Saar speaks with Somaliland President Abdullahi
Jerusalem, December 26 (Hibya) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar held a telephone conversation with Somaliland President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi.

Recalling that relations between Israel and Somaliland were established last year on the basis of comprehensive and continuous dialogue, Saar said: “In line with the decision of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Somaliland President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi, today we signed an agreement on mutual recognition and the establishment of full diplomatic relations. This agreement will also include the appointment of ambassadors and the opening of embassies.”
Emphasizing that they will work together to develop relations between the peoples, regional stability and economic prosperity, Saar added: “I have instructed my office to take immediate action to institutionalize the ties between our countries in various fields.”
