Qatar condemns Netanyahu's entry into Syrian territory
Doha, September 10 (Hibya) - Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's illegal entry into Syrian territory, stating that it constitutes a violation of Syria's sovereignty and international law.
Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement regarding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's illegal entry into Syrian territory.
The ministry stated that Netanyahu's crossing of international borders constitutes a clear violation of the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic and international law, and also poses a serious threat to regional security.
The statement called on the international community to take urgent action to compel Israel to comply with its obligations under international law, particularly the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for an end to repeated attacks on Syrian territory in order to prevent further escalation in the region.
