Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Uzbek Foreign Minister Bahtiyor Saidov received copies of the credentials of Belgium’s newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan, Matthias Kende.

During the meeting, it was noted that the opening of the Belgian Embassy in Tashkent marked an important development in relations between the two countries.

In a social media post, Saidov said particular attention was given during his meeting with Kende to further strengthening political dialogue and expanding cooperation in trade, the economy and investment.

Saidov said the start of operations by the Belgian Embassy in Tashkent marked an important milestone in the development of Uzbekistan-Belgium relations.

Stating that they are ready to further advance relations between the two countries both bilaterally and within the framework of cooperation with the European Union, Saidov noted that in the new period, developing economic relations is also important alongside political contacts.

The meeting also addressed the development of trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Belgium and the increase of mutual investments.

Saidov said efforts to expand cooperation between the two countries would continue and expressed readiness to advance Uzbekistan-Belgium relations through cooperation mechanisms within the framework of the European Union as well.

Saidov wished Ambassador Matthias Kende success in his “responsible and honorable” mission in Uzbekistan.
