North Macedonia sends message of security and defense cooperation with the EU
Skopje, May 8 (Hibya) - North Macedonian Foreign Minister Timčo Mucunski reiterated the country’s commitment to European integration during talks held within the framework of the Security and Defense Partnership with the European Union (EU).
Mucunski held a meeting with a high-level delegation from the European External Action Service within the framework of the European Union Security and Defense Partnership.
During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed regarding the regular political dialogue mechanism established through the partnership agreement signed in 2024.
The parties also exchanged views on current security and defense discussions within the European Union. The European Peace Facility and preparations for the 2027 Strategic Guidance were among the topics discussed.
Mucunski stated that North Macedonia continues to be a reliable and constructive partner in the EU’s foreign and security policy, reiterating the country’s strong commitment to the European integration process.
