Metsola: Europe is open to high-quality foreign investments
Brussels, 11 December (Hibya) – European Parliament President Roberta Metsola stated that the new regulation will make Europe more attractive for safe and high-quality foreign investments.
European Parliament President Metsola made statements regarding the European Union’s (EU) updated screening rules for foreign investments.
Metsola said, “Europe is open to safe, high-quality foreign investments that create jobs and increase productivity.”
In her statement, Metsola added:
“The updated foreign investment screening rules agreed upon today by the European Parliament and the EU Council will help make this possible. Stronger cooperation among member states will speed up procedures and make Europe more attractive for investors.”
