Merz: We strongly condemn Iran’s air attacks
Berlin, May 18 (Hibya)- German Chancellor Friedrich Merz reacted to Iran’s air attacks against the United Arab Emirates and other partners.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz drew attention in his statement to the security threat posed by attacks targeting nuclear facilities.
Condemning the attacks, Merz said, “We strongly condemn Iran’s renewed air attacks against the United Arab Emirates and other partners.”
Emphasizing the danger posed by attacks on nuclear facilities, Merz stated, “Attacks on nuclear facilities pose a threat to the safety of people in the region.”
Calling for de-escalation, Merz concluded, “Further escalation of violence must not be allowed.”
