Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni responded to reports in the Swiss media claiming that the treatment expenses of some youths injured in the fire in Crans-Montana could be charged to Italy.
Meloni stated that if such a request regarding the treatments carried out at the hospital in Sion is formalized, Italy will not accept it and will not process it.
In her statement, Meloni said she believes that Swiss authorities will act responsibly and expressed hope that the reports do not reflect reality.
