Leyen: We reaffirm our strong solidarity with our Middle East partners
Nicosia, April 24 (Hibya) - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, during her visit to Cyprus, highlighted the European Union’s partnership with Middle Eastern countries and the importance of regional cooperation.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen emphasized the region’s geopolitical position, stating, “Today, in Cyprus, at the crossroads of continents and cultures, we reaffirm our strong solidarity with our Middle East partners.”
Von der Leyen pointed to the importance of cooperation in a time of global crises, saying, “Such times require stronger partnerships.”
Von der Leyen outlined her goals by stating, “We will deepen our ties across all areas, from defense and security to investments.”
