Lahbib: Rodent infestation crisis in Gaza is worsening
Brussels, April 23 (Hibya) – European Union Commissioner for Equality, Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib stated that the rodent infestation in Gaza has become a serious crisis.
European Union Commissioner for Equality, Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib assessed the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
Lahbib said, “Gaza is facing a rodent infestation crisis due to overcrowded shelters, piles of waste, disrupted sewage management, and limited access to water and hygiene supplies.”
Referring to aid to Gaza in her statement, Lahbib added, “We continue to support our partners delivering life-saving aid to Gaza and call for unhindered access.”
