Lahbib: Moldova’s reforms reflect our shared values
Brussels, September 11 (Hibya) - European Commissioner Hadja Lahbib said Moldova’s reforms in the areas of equality and the rule of law reflect the European Union’s shared values.
European Commissioner Hadja Lahbib assessed Moldova’s resilience and reform process during her visit to Chișinău, the country’s capital. Lahbib thanked Moldovan President Maia Sandu for her hospitality.
Stating that Moldova has “demonstrated remarkable resilience, determination and ambition,” Lahbib said the country’s reforms in equality and the rule of law reflect the values it shares with the European Union.
Lahbib also noted that Moldova’s role in the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism and its support for Ukraine “embody EU solidarity.”
