Dar: The greatest tribute we can pay him is to build the Pakistan he envisioned
Islamabad, September 11 (Hibya) - Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, in a message marking the 78th death anniversary of Pakistan’s founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah, highlighted Jinnah’s role in the establishment of the country and his political legacy.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar issued a message on the 78th death anniversary of Pakistan’s founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Dar said Jinnah’s leadership and historic struggle made the creation of Pakistan possible, describing him as the “Father of the Nation.”
Dar said Jinnah’s vision gave the Muslims of South Asia “a distinct political identity” and an independent homeland where they could live with dignity, freedom and equal rights. He reaffirmed their commitment to Jinnah’s principles of “Unity, Faith and Discipline.”
Emphasizing the goal of building a peaceful, prosperous and inclusive Pakistan, Dar said: “The greatest tribute we can pay him is to work together to build the Pakistan he envisioned.” At the end of his message, Dar prayed for Allah’s mercy upon Jinnah.
