Lahbib: Europe stands strong in difficult times
Brussels, August 23 (Hibya) – European Union (EU) Commissioner for Crisis Management and Humanitarian Aid Hadja Lahbib said that firefighting teams from Czechia, Germany, Romania and Slovakia are taking part in efforts to combat wildfires in Serbia.
EU Commissioner for Crisis Management and Humanitarian Aid Hadja Lahbib announced that firefighting teams from Czechia, Germany, Romania and Slovakia had joined efforts to combat wildfires in Serbia.
Lahbib said that the firefighting teams sent from these countries under the EU Civil Protection Mechanism are fighting the fires alongside local teams in Serbia.
Lahbib said, “In difficult times, Europe stands strong.”
