Kallas: Houthi attacks are unacceptable
Brussels, September 18 (Hibya) - European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas said Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia are unacceptable.
European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas said in a statement that Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia are negatively affecting the global economy.
Kallas said she discussed diplomatic efforts with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan aimed at ending the conflicts in Yemen and restoring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
Kallas said maritime passages should remain unobstructed and free, adding that Europe supports protecting shipping in the Red Sea against Houthi attacks.
