IDF continues to neutralize terrorists in southern Lebanon
Jerusalem, May 2 (Hibya) – According to a statement by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), in the past 24 hours approximately 50 Hezbollah terrorist infrastructures in southern Lebanon were targeted by airstrikes, and elements located near IDF units were neutralized.
The briefing stated that the destroyed targets included headquarters, military buildings and additional infrastructure, which were used for planned activities against the State of Israel and IDF forces.
It was also reported that several rockets were launched toward IDF forces in southern Lebanon, which landed in open areas, and no alarms were activated in accordance with procedures.
The statement noted that the army continues its operations to eliminate threats in line with political directives, and included the following:
“The Hezbollah terrorist organization launched several rockets toward IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon. The rockets fell in open areas in southern Lebanon. In accordance with policy, no alarms were activated.”
